Race, ethnicity and COVID-19 vaccination: a qualitative study of UK healthcare staff

In this video we talk about recent research from the TIDES team on COVID-19 vaccines. We want to better understand why the uptake of the vaccine was lower among healthcare professionals from racial and ethnic minority groups, and to inform initiatives that enhance uptake.

The research discussed in this video forms part of our ongoing investigation into racial and ethnic inequalities experienced by healthcare practitioners across England. We report our findings directly to policy makers, which are then used to create new and innovative training and intervention resources for NHS staff across the country.
