Tackling Inequalities and Discrimination Experiences in health Services
TIDES Phase 1
TIDES Phase 1 is a series of projects that aims to understand how discrimination contributes to inequalities in health and health services.
Using mixed methods, we have completed 46 interviews and collected data from over 900 healthcare practitioners.
Check out our public engagement activities and events aimed at all NHS healthcare practitioners.
TIDES Phase 2
TIDES Phase 2 examines the impact of COVID-19 on inequalities experience by ethnic minority people working in health and social care.
We co-produced an inequalities survey for NHS Check participants and completed interviews with NHS staff including managers and leaders.
We are co-producing a Race Equality Assessment toolkit to inform senior staff how to tackle racial and ethnic inequalities within the NHS, incorporating a Virtual Reality project to develop immersive training scenarios.
Are you interested in issues affecting ethnic minority group staff members? We want to hear your thoughts, opinions, and experiences.
